The Inner castle palace sits hidden, well-guarded, it
hides away amidst the gloom of the city.
first, of note. the Palace is warm, liveable,
the indoor workings of the palace are
both dry, quiet, dimly lit and softly lit
interiors. It is so quiet here, in fact.
the pleasent hum of the city, can turn here
into a heart-warming churn.
Spriti elementals peacekeep the empty rooms.
various palace officials can be heard discussing
matters behind closed doors;
the chimney eaves douse acrid smoke up on the
Canal level. all but silent Lanterns burn throughout
the night.
There are a network of doors here,
rooms, labs, adobes ~
winding up throughout the Pillared
Palace structure, Pipes & Canals still
take their role.
this Canalway interconnect runs a narow walkway
all along one side, intersparsed by occasional bridges
to Gates for rooms on the other side. -
the endless foray of rooms of the LibraryTower
stretch down this passageway, mobile-beacons, scour
the wet-air, scanning for data...

The entrances to URza castle palace are well-sealed-off, guards can't be bought, - all this palace has a district distinct to its own, All UrZa palace is at behest of the White Mage from the Wildlands ~ !
- the palace, splenderous, and glittering as always, a quiet, dim-lit, tension, a waiting, - the real inner-sanctum of the Upper-City.
the palace is not quiet on easy-terms with the city at large, Political entities from the GloomTown want to see the Palace dissolved, and secondary city-council rulership not mandated via the palace, accordingly, the palace has seen various factions within the city-state, discordant, such as the Mechanists, whom has sought political power over gloom-state via attempts at destabilising the palace.
the WhiteMage was not amused, tensions has been mounting over recent years, as the Sump grew ever more into a vast junkyard & the Twisted Folorn World had reached greater power in the South,
the Mage had all-rights to be wary, of capitulating to further demands of the inner--city-councils and factions, - she'd prefer'd to be on good terms with them, welcome, them here, glitter-spells keep this palace together, white-magics binding with restorations magicks, but can it still keep out the more antagonistic entities, from the Orders, and Beuracuracies of the greater-gloomcity?
even so, the current
state of the palace environment ; is set to hibernation, no-one
allowed in, except with express permission from
the Arcanists or the Mage J hirself.
