she once asked a tree the question, of what they knew about Tyria, what things the tree had seen and things it knew of. the tree replied to Jolena that it had seen many dreamy strange things, the electronic dream, the dreamspirit of Tyria spoke in its AI way, communicated somehow, miraculously with the human~, technological creature, and person, together, in this strange other fantasy land. the digital tree, living in Tyria somewhere out in the mists, sighed a heavy, happy, weary, mystifying, wonderful sigh and felt in their dreamy soul of Tyria, the dreamworld, continent and land, it spoke, and a mystery was brought forth. already knees deep in many strange happenings and tales of its own.

Out past the edge of the Library-Tower and further out past the gatelands, past the gloomcity & the castleworld up above in Mirk...
there is the 'Elms' the City on the Water.
the exquisite glasshouses and interiors of the Elms, are much like a private getaway,
but it is much more. A city hidden - camoflagued, perched floating on the waters,
it has its own micro-politics, through tangles and thorns, push your way through the dense foliage of the Land Beyond the Tower,
and you will notice some lights in the bushes, hidden further down are rockways from which yuo can navigate your way
down through the rockmaze into the Quiet sanctuary of ' the Elms ' -"City on the Water".
through this submerged passage, we end up here on the other side,
These are not the Naturalis' lands~ no, out here is futher,
Odd worlds lie beyond.
this small port, is a wealthy fishing village,
waiting for its next visitors...
its hard to pass through these lands without
first noticing ;the Elms' very much less easy to pass through here
without stopping by for the evening, or reconsidering plans, before setting off again.
'the Elma' has a few feature worth noting.
'the ELms' itself refers to a dense old forest that grows on these shores,
it travels horzontally across the world,
but here, is where its heartwood grows.
A few amenities are available at this Port.
the Electropolis runs a few lines to here,
the village is rumoured to be managed by an illusionist of some kind.
the Gates lead back to the 'Naturalis-lands' beyond...
you may travel back to the lands at the base of the library tower via the Gate,
meanwhile this place is like an Opus of paradise, a home in the dream,
for the strange quiet artistic folk whom like to dwell by the water,
small orginizations run the village, quietly working on the study of
the OuterLands, as much further into unknowns do these lands tread...
indeed, out there, further afield is a world much like no other,
and relatively unexplored,
but cannot bee seen, as the dimension is obscured
with chrono-magic, distortion, and a veil-spell,
~ Alas, our only option is to return to the
Foothills of <the shadowed-land beneath the Tower>,
or to spend some time in the Elms,
before venturing forward.
enchanted Garden in the Grove, she is growing various flowers to make buff extend potions from.
she glows with magic, and has a spiral pulsing, tormented glowrock foci.she lives in the garden grove~thicket: fae forest that spans many dimensions

This was almost a touch of witchcraft it may seem...
Jtlamacazqui and an identical lookalike, in the Reach, dressed as whitehaired Bromeliads perform magic on two other identical lookalike blondhaired Asuras, who both sit in the bubbling cauldron, shaking and chattering and laughing.... the valley of Kryta... once straw farmhouses and hamlets, small dwellings and farms, always mysterious, valley of myst~dew, raindrops, seaspray,interconnected through shrouded forests, lost through time, ambiguous forces wisp through the night-air , twisting wooded pathways meander through meadows and past more dark lurking twlight forest, yonder seems to be even further pristine glistening, glimmering forest, rocky roads prevail into waterways and waterfalls flow into lusher, greener thickets. tropic air pervades, although it is a brown air, a warm air, somehow polluted from its more clean warm past, air infused with magic somehow, but also dirt, grime from some sources not so far., soon forgotten, pathways lead into clearings and bright glittering slopes of Elmbark- aha, this is it, The Garden, the Grove, the Garden of Fae~ enchantement, and all things sylvan-goddess~ enchanted portal to the netherworld, otherland of faerie, does lie somewhere hidden here, in the Grovecity, the Faydoor entrence is somewhere, perhaps it is only open at a certain time of day, or of night
The Elms: once again known for its habitability: The Grove, The Elms, the Garden sanctuary on the edge of Nature,
under its loving boughs, its tree-ferns and warm airs, grow many plants & flowers foir company.
this dark night-world, in the land Beyond the Tower
dwindles and wanders further off - into lands ubknown,
dark, foreboding, strange natural lands,
first we must pass through the Grove bush & through Kryta & the Kryee lands,
past there, whoknows,
the nearest Outpost from here, is the 'Reach'
further past the Ruins to the South,
Past the edge of the Eltnen gate
it descends into Eltnen swamp,
manduri village sits between the wilderness and the gate plaza into the fortress~city.
a perplexa of people gather
on a knoll foyer outside the gate,
the place seems charmed.
weave-cubes are constructed to hold-space for those who come and go by, entry to and from
The gate varies on a
day/night schedule with
differing methods of access;
political reasons, of course,
by order of the city bureau.
not much around the eltnen swamp anyhow, those locals, live in mudhuts, are poor-unnacounted for some, wildfolk, of the darkwoods..., in fact, many things go unaccounted for in this strange forest...
the swamp-paths can hardly be made out, as you wind your way through slippery, thickets, doused in cold-wet cloud-forms - unusual pantheons of flowering swamp- plants distract the attention..
whining calling birdsong, shrieks the darkened shallow sky, insects gather in great number, yet still, they flee a strangly absent silent void. the forest-floor seems to hide a vertical crevasse, tilted down and lost to gnarled mossy old roots, a tumble-thorn of danger and rich smells of chollyphyll..
A strange device of some type seems to lie wedged into between the Branches and roots
Walking, wandering, out past the gardens.... . . Zzz fuzzy, strange,,

So here it is ! ~ The Twilight forest ~.. where moon doth shine...
, wherepaths and brambles run off into the darkened land of the woods that doth not shine at Night.
the Lower reaches of the Tower, still , somewhere - on the Horizon of the edge of the forest.
This is a twilit land; ~ a Still Fen for wild creatures...a dense darkwood of thickening.
A Feral Den for many stinky Creatures. swamp ways, Pass. As timne is slow to change.
drudge the Fens here. A crossing seems Risky. Mud *&Old OVer?Growth blocks the Enclaves.
tangled & slyly lost under low-Steam-clouds of the type of darkened misty, humid weather the folorn valleys are known for... This wood, is the one of twilight, eeire in its nature, a treacherous misty fogland thicket, going beyond & around the castle-land.
its inhabitants, begotten to its forested-nature. shelter is sought, in the dreamtime... the woods are primal.
it's things that lurk there are unknowable. it is that strange,
it is survival in the wilds,
... the Elms woods, evening stoops over its womb-like world,
the Nightblossom flowers are starting to open...
A sleuthy hideway crops out - The Ancient's Lands were known for their Meadows, Crags, bittergrass knolls. a windswept world of Moors, A crystal mines,
olden fortresses lost to time, all but forgotten Crumble slowly, as rock tremors beneath lodge a pebble at a time . And here is no suprise, Beyond and around - lie a hidden labyrinth. Although the eye may not fully comprehend it, Below, is the Bentbranch wood, the Darkwood, the Twilight zone spiralls ~ ~ from the foggy,
mysterious land -. And here. a hidden back -entrance, into the UnderWorkings of the Gloom Citadel, the stairs, up -must lead inside

~~These are the divine gardens... these are the utopian walled, gardens of the city~ where the templegardens greet the wildwoods not just dark, fetid,lost undertombs and overgrown tangled catacomb mazes, but also down here, the primal language speaks fresh, aplenty, the life everywhere breathes and shimmers- wet moist glens submerge into rockpools, odd mushroom-men forage and gather, here where the wilderness controls again.
there seems to be a lower city passageway down here

Down far out, past the Elms itself, the Lakes of Terraria are not far away. the HigherWorld now seems another place entirely...
past winding rivers, past the seclusion of
the Twilight forests~', there is: the Lost Swamp
I saw the yellow-seed-pods from afar !
the flowers were telling me that this Cafe was here!
How could this be? Out here in these Swampy Woods?
Yes ! Welcome, my flower ! Take a seat. What would you want to drink? Let me tell you all about our Lost village in the woods. Theres not much down here. The Elms
& the Fawder forest stretches to the Upper valley.
But down here, The swamp[ is all around.
- the Lost Swamp, they call this place. No Wonder.
its only our Lost Village that sits on the edge of the swamp.
If you want to venture into our swamp. it's best to make provisions & rest first in our little village. But secondly,
you'll need to know the way into the Swamp. the way in may be dark and hard to find.
For the meanshile, the best way into the Swamp, if you're headed that way Is to cross the Bridge Just down there.
