The Ropebridge is relatively well-secured, For all normal characcters carrying only a medium or light load of items /backpacks/luaggage May cross easily without rolling any Dice.
charcters carryingHeavy/and or Overloaded backpack(too many items on them, i.e 50 or more inventory items ) Or are wearing Too-Heavy in weight bulky armour Will have to Roll a dice also: Also if Your character is a Beast/Class or larger than medium humanoid/light then they roll a dice too...
Roll Two D-20 (two 20 sided dice at once) or roll twice and add them up,
if the overall roll is 10 or lower you fall completely off the bridge with your heavy load, If you are Riding a Mule or Donkey,
or Portage animal then they also fall of the bridge with you.
if overall roll is 15 or more (15-40) then you cross safely, the bridge Holds.
If Overall roll is 2 the bridge snaps entirely, and everyone crossing falls (even those in your party who didn't need to roll without heavy loads) only agility +20 chracters are unaffected.
If the roll is between 10-14(i.e. 11,12,13,14, then you manage to cross, but on the way Drop one Itemm, Choose: to discard an item from your inventory, or the gamemaster willl choose

Shacks, huts, treehouses, not much - beyond lies the vastness of the woods, the mysterious beckoning trepid primeval forest of old, a twisted Bark yields ... A fallow backwood. Entepid with Moss.
It is far off.
the seismic Rumbles of the Mountains can be felt. not faroff.

Down in the dark enclosure of a dark Hollows. the Land stirs, in the stench-fog of it's own Night. Tendrils wrap around previously fallen Stones and Logs.
A Lark Cry, of a Loon Strays through the Dusky Evening Mid-Horizon. The fallen forest Rots and swells in it's own Pools of Bog-Ponds. Bracken & Fronds stretch out; covering the Swamp with foliage. the Humid atmosphere pulsates. As the fetid swamp murmurs, groans





The Ever-Cool Night Forest: chicadas chirp throughout the Night.
There is a Jaguar on the prowl.
Better be very cautious, and watch our steps.
There are Primary Trunk Branches to climb along.
Very skilled climbers of skill +17 or more may descend (only) amongst the Foliage >>>>
But to Ascend these tree trunks will need +20 or more climbing skill.
There are strange Crystal Shards here. the mystical fprest ,sparkles;
and is bewildering.
It is still a long way down,
mayhap - - these crystal spires are that of a Wizard's?
... And in this forest hides-away a Howl.
A hollow-tree-stump world.
A Fine Mist clings to the land. Morning seems ever-distant.
Besides the Howl, there is a white-cap faerie ring, of mysterious origin.
A wondera of unusual plants grow in the Deep forest all-around.
the Cave belongs to a solitary Hermit. Who may return.
He conceals its location amongst the Bushes.
inside the hollow, hidden under a pile of
leaves are: 6 Silver pieces, A Chalk totem.
the resident Puma, has first-strike. & Forestwalk.
the Mad Hermit, should he return is 4th Level
thief, DX12, AC4, Hp:14 ,wears a (+2 Ring,
of Spell-Drain) And may Cast drain-mana
on magic-users & clerics : -15 MP (per roll) -15spell class per turn
the Puma is DX18, Ac6, but will flee if you sound a loud Horn.
