Ascent through the Cauldron Mountain pass is one of the few ways Up here.

into unbearable straits, botomless chasm; the plateau is safety, And here up in the Polar region
the Northernmost Domain of UjLuah. an isolated fragment of the Wizard's Cast;eWorld.
this exposed point formed of the Cold SpireMountains, the IceSteepes, which jut out of the
world across the plains, until the fog-mass will block the views. But there are some pathways. Kryxxiea is an important Settlement. Formed just after the climax of the
Old city, walls were made, to encircle the mountain, a walkroad was made here,
to lead through Kynixxa, to the pilgrim lands. into the Vale of flowers
a place for wanderers, journeyers; Kynixxea was
originally inhabited by Soulseekers & Monks
who wished to escape from the UrMa Castle Metropolis, darkening
their lives...
and here...the world both
tumbles downwards,
and cascades Southward
in every direction - except upwards...
bitterly cole Polar winds
cycle and Vortex around the Northernmost region -
There is a lonely City, up at the top of the world. KYrixxea. Named after the province itself.
The walk Up over rocks, seems steady enough. the Way down sends butterflies into the stomach, as you reel in vertigo. easy now... tread carefully...
The way further through seems darkened, obscured. Yet there is Just this Perilous RopeBridge. Across the Other side of the rickety dangerous ropebridge There is the Marvellous city in the clouds ! the Lonely City Kryxxiea, in the polar north.
To cross the bridge it willbe tricky,
certain requirements must be met.
only medium & light (with low loads) may attempt the cross.
(this is a place for scouts, acrobats, rangers, mage's on the run, not for those geared for defense)
And so, If you attempt to cross with a Medium class Roll 1 D20
If you attempt to cross with a Light class Roll 2 D20s
1-2: You fall And must Enter the Next Zone: here (hidden from fall)
3-8: the winds blow at you, your Stamina takes a hit ( -2 Endurance , healed upon rest)
9-20: You cross safely, but must rest, -1 Endurance fatigue, healed upon rest, i.e. tent)
If you are a light class You may roll 2 D20s if you choose, doubling your chances of not rolling a low number. If you are an acrobat also you may also share this boon
alternatively it is possible to return to the wooded enclove in the Shadowed Vale, scrambling back down the way you climbed up from...
