this is the ValeWood, of the altitude forest realms ~ ~
there is way through here, into the Icesteepes Mountains,
also it is a sheltered mountain forest, safer from the heavy winds,
a perilous outcrop, 
surviving on just
nothing much
the Ice Guardian,
sees over the pass,
to go back,
is to leave
the mountain realm,
... to push onwards, is to
meet strange perils & icy depths,
unknown, savage lands...
for now, this outcrop is known
to the hamlet villagepeople;
the ValeWood has its own name,
      and spirit,     it lives on,
        in memories, in location.
