This is the lowest reaches of the gloomcity, this is the lower gloom in all its limelight, like a collapsed city-shelf, that sunk into itself, occupied by anyone & everyone that couldn't pay their way through Uppergloomcity, the place rattles with anticipation & furor. hot clamour & swelter, the lower parts of gloom are both a mine and a clitter-clatter of roughly-built homes, amongst denizens of who-knows-what, built into the mountain and caves, choke full of city-smoke, from the chimney homes ~ mouldy warehouses, strewn with a winding canal system othe city crashes into the countryside - turning into the city undercrofts and Spirelands, before the canal networks descend into marshes & riverlets.
But, here, with the palace resting on the roof of this place, the environment is heaving and both dark and trepid, but alive and jubliant, the dockyards are here & machine-repair-works - cogfitters & melders working on broken craft .
the cityworkers gather here, tinkering with the machines,
living their lives whilst in the gloom...

Evil is not a concept to hir, perhaps not even sin a concept. for thse things, part partake of another world, entirely but.Here - in the GloomDungeon domain - weird spells are scribed.Exotic & repugnant incences choke the air - t charms are tended to ~hroughout the night- this may be the Underworld domain - perhaps there is a way down under there -.
A generator churns -A whirring, constant excited noise. The city resource confer their backup power generator for the gloomtown, Stone drainage funnels down into the waterworks system, as a way out of the darkcity.
power-factories Buzz into the Night - pixies seem to have made their home here, amongst the waste-streams.
amongst the glut, the whole place smells, a polluted, rotten old thraxis, pyrexian sewer zones, all¬hing but mud, squelching, dripping,
ooozeing, spillages everywhere, all the ivies are drenched in sallow & soot.
the sands of the red mountain sift and casters take footing to ply their sand-dust: barter magic, fire -burn every corner or so, the heat of the machines has been causing the whole place to sort of redden and browenen
but shadier things lurk beneath the sewers, begotten oddities, things rather not to be discussed. waterways, reach into even danker wells of rancid water, still, too quiet pools of shadow,
the way through is dark, no obvious passages,-perhaps on foot is not easy,
