zone: the _~Eeroz'aiia~ wilderness
this is the upper Eeroz'aiah wilderness~ upper frontier of the Ee'roziaa citadel and ruins of old Eeroza- the arcane kindgom of mages from the first era. up here, the wild city entrance and hoardings and the lower mage caverns and alchemical network of caves and magical fires, darker, deeper caves lead into dragon guarded magical glyph-sealed chambers and antifices.> further past the caves and you are out into lesser Eeroziah wilderness.....




Up here on the walls of the temple-learning centre, all is cool - as still a breeze and cool air as the placid monks themselves, sitting and talking up in their studies and libraries... the cool walls
Surrender to the breath of the wilderness beyond. And all around,
dense clouds, rich forest, and dense foliage.
much disaster and danger, much life and easyness.

With the UrZa palace complex of the gloom, off now on the other side of the cloud-drenched valley, the territery boundaries flounder and meander into parts of the vast-inter-city-moats, edges of canals serve the underdock of the monastery, but this is a quiet stop-off point, not too many stay at the monastery, half the year the fog-covered valley isolates the Eerozea valley from the rest of the Folorn world, but during the warm season the clouds shift - and the monastery sees more visitors pass through. this is a strange centre of meditation, archamges comes to anlyse the rocks, and gaze for nights into the gem-crystal auric gatherings- learn to mimic and warp the aura with their minds - -
the Wilderness out there in the Feltlands, in the Eer'thozi'ee. they stretch far away -
It took an age to construct the tower & the monastir retreat was infused with holy waters & dew-magicks, rituals of the people of altitude world contiued as normal.
Ritual bonfires & spirit-warding in the woods<
gathering of particular fungi
and to Aooease the mysthical dragon King in his Lair.
if he could remain forgotten,
he would stay still,
but to think, of him,
would awaken,forces,
so, the monks sit in
the fortress and channel energy,
and thoughts to serenity,
away from the dragon.













Eerozi'ah wilds are on the Mountain side. From, if you turn into the forest outside of the gloomkeep,
instead of going into the enchantedforest,and wandering past into its triffids, the Eeroziah lands are instead sort of through the mountain pass and over the other side of the hills the reach will stretch vertically ~into an opposite World, perilously perched atop the mountain-face,
this is an upperworld, clean cool air, auroras and gusts of wind, serpent beasts swim the lakes,
and if you head towards the
warped woods and twistedfoliage the Forlon world of XoUm is past the other valley, the Tel Knal tower here provides a library and
intermedium between the
passage and gloom-woods.



Life is easy, up here in the Ee'roziaa citadel. the ebb-ronzed-marble, skystone cloudpalace..,
The arcane mage home of old...
life is long too, plenty of time to meditate, and focus the mind on the arcane arts... fresh air, clean, cool...
~ through the tunnels you will be back in the gloomcaves~ and through the Walls you will find yourself on the otherside of the UpperPalacewalls. in the Mage-Library-Tower district.
Although life is slow here on the Arcane tower, it is peaceful, presumed closer to the gods, up here in the skyrealm of the Clouds.
This is the Upper-realm's aracane-mage's tower,
The Library Naturali's- that connects to the city,
is across a chasm bridge, over the Void of EsssK' .

the Icesteepes village hamlet outpost perches here in the icy-forest Glen; A sheltered Bay, Cold, but away rom the expsure of the harsh winds & biting Gales , This valley gatepass into the Icesteepe Mountains
is a valuable sanctuary for respite from the blighted colds,

for sufficient time in a night, ((+4 Warming effect )) will apply
thus drying Wet Goods & clothing.
-the Nearby tree-village senses your presence. You will need to Roll aD20 during the Night if you choose to stay.
1-5: they telepathically enter your dreams during the sleep - seeking magical powers- (-7 to All Mana), but bestow Chrosolyte Stones upon Bed by the morning (from which magical properties can be learnt)-with use of a dweomer like other stones.
6-10: Pixie spirits from the forest awaken your sleep. (Regen -1 for the next Two days). You awaken in a Daze.
11-16: You sleep well, and awaken to the sounds of the morning chorus. quite well rested (+5 Boost to All stats)drains uponlosing energy overtime
17-20: the Sleep feels rested,but groggy. A Porpotadely Phantasmal InnKeeper shows up in the morning,demanding Pay.

the Sub-tropical Volcanic tribal Realm "of Hypoborea" lives up here on the E`eroz'ia`h plateau.
Elves patrol the nearby forests, as this is the edge of their Domain. the PaganWorld's presence is nearby, and the wood elves rarely stray far from their home woodland.
deep down below are the sharp & flinty, rugged Depths of the Entry into the Icesteepes Mountain chasms. and further beyond, down into the unpassable Valley basin below...
Up here, you will have to make your hope for yourselves, you can buy items & Rest in the Inn
and venure into the PaganWorld, or amongst these Subtropical Volcanic Hills you can hope to find a way into the Upper Valley of the Hypoborean rainlands .....

The Frozen Trepid Wastes, this region of the Mountain Ee'rozia valley became stuck and swollen with dry ice, frozen lakebeds, the cold sand desert below turned to Wastes also. the Atraxia'h realm beyond, the warped desert marsh lands, now a sea of rover, drifters, & pirates of the DrySea. the Frozen foreboding IceWastes form a casdacing unstable pillar rockvalley. SkyClouds hang & droop over the shadows of the frozen lakes > The Icy Pass is not an easy route, mounted voyaging would be nessecary. The Old SandGate that once brought the Bearers of the old Paro symbols through the region, remain open:, the valley pass is festered with lightning drakes;
there remains one way into the Valley of the Paro Desert... a lone hermit is at the gate: You may pass through into the PAro Desert region, if you so choose to:
you sense a living world down below. There is a river, you see a dark misty forest off in the distance. howls of unusual creatures & flocking insects. tangled roots & fungi grows amidst Morning glories there is a swollen muddy valley;
perhaps it is the lower forest of dreams?
, and so, we waited past tomorrow...
She always wanted to you see...

the ruinsof the old wall , here flooded, a defunct dam.
now the River Kai floods into the lower valley.
strange energies work at this Apex.

you know they call this place the throat of the world.
But most don't know that. Because most have forgotten that.this was the sink,
where the higher planes collapsed into the Tyrimar depths in the cavern lands below.
but I tended this small ledge,
and hodged here, a hermit of the UpperWorld, dry air...
but i found water, and can breathe easuily.
i have a hidden passage in the rocks, you can maybe escape,
to the other side of the mountain from here,- the DreamPalace holds a strange sway, an odd energy, if it favours you... the being energy of it, is real, divine, strong, let it approach you, guide you... the Temple spirit itself will decide....
I am the Sayer. I brew potion, from things like mountain herbs, dust, rocks, soot,dirt, old leaves.
whatever will get the magic healing done.

I stay away from the village hamlet.
away from the spiritdragon's spirit wrath, for its the wrah of nature, fierce, unwilling.
there are old runs-magic enchanted steps, down to the world below, though i do not know what magics it is that vinds them. old & mysterious & forgotten.





There used to be a more steady influx of mages and students learning the art of the monastery, recently numberr dwindled and less and less monks trained in the E;eRziOh Monastery.
The whole place has an Acrecian smell about it, all smelling of scented wood smoke, fresh bundles, chalk floors, everyone always would hush you if you ever spoke here. Time to calm it down they would say, enough is enough now.
time to leave wethinks,
time to embrace the other
world, To find a new home,
away from the madness
of the palace and gloom
away from the ministeries,
and the monastery, and
the chalk farms, and the
constant dragon worship,
into the new madness, of
the dreadlands!
the halls are quiet here, murmur,
rumour abound...
an ancient land lies nearby,
they know, both cultivated,
preserved & still always untamed, wild,
unforgiving, yet serene.
In the SkyWorlds, life is simple - on this side of the temple, air is clear. Over here in the temple monastery retreat; things are slower too. minimally funtional artifacts make for peace and serenity of mind, fewer tasks enhance greater meditation; and monks can stay and learn for many months or weeks or years at a time, some just pass through, eager to weave new magics and learn new spells from the arcanist mages who walk about here, wandering the sanctums , pondering metaphyiscal philosphies, yearning, meandering, sometimes on break from the Castle, UzHu.
they pace these halls And spend quiet evenings trying to understand, the actual mysteries of life, in the Folorn-Lands.
~~~ take the paths back through the castle walls and the sky-bridge gatepath back to the Library-side of gloomcastle,
or Stay in the Monastery a while,
Or venture further past out of the monastery, and go exploring into the EeRoSiah wilderness.
